Our founder, Kevin Ohlendorf, is the 3rd generation owner of a dental laboratory located in St. Louis, MO.
A few years ago a major shift occurred in the dental laboratory industry. Digital scanning technology was being used in the dental offices to replace physical mouth impressions. Digital scans of patient’s teeth had to be converted into a 3D printed model for fabrication of dental appliances.
Over the years, it became very evident that there is a large demand for small quantity runs of precision 3D printed parts. We realized we had everything needed to fill that need, including the expertise and experience in 3D printing, scanning and prototyping, so the 3D Print Shop was born. Our unique business advantage and lower overhead allows us to provide you with all of the quality and expertise of a larger shop with the added value of affordability, short run orders and expert customer service.
